An EBONY Magazine tweet set heads scratching when it claimed that newly-elected California Senator Kamala Harris would be the first ever African-American Senator.
As you can see, the tweet is particularly confusing since the second sentence contradicts the first. Perhaps EBONY meant to say that Harris was the first African-American Senator from California?
Still, the tweet somehow stayed up, only to suddenly inspire mockery two days later.
